ROYCE SIMMONS CHARITY DAY

On Saturday 19th July, Leonay Golf Club hosted a Charity Day 4-Ball Ambrose event to raise funds for the Royce Simmons Foundation which is dedicated to supporting those affected by dementia as well as their families and friends.

The event was supported by an amazing 162 players, both men and ladies, who took on the course with much enthusiasm on a glorious sunny day.  There was a raffle on the day with many amazing prizes on offer with a framed Penrith Panther's Jersey, signed by all the Penrith Panthers players as the first prize.  Needless to say, many raffle tickets were sold.

On the day, Leonay Golf Club donated $10 from each of the 162 entrants in the event totalling $1620 and our amazing volunteers sold raffle tickets whose sales collected $2725 giving a grand total of $4345 raised for the Royce Simmons Foundation which was an outstanding result and an increase from last year's event.

Men's President Les Knox was on hand at the draw of the raffle to present prizes to all the winners and also to whole-heartedly thank all of the sponsors for their extreme generosity in providing prizes for the raffle.  The sponsors of the Royce Simmons Foundation Charity Day were;
