Juniors turn out in BIG numbers
Leonay Golf Club and the Juniors Development Committee would like to thank all those youngsters and parents who turned up to our Junior’s Information Night last Tuesday, 15th July. We were extremely delighted with the number of people that turned up to find out more about Junior Golf at Leonay: a brief history of past Leonay Juniors, how to join, how to get your handicap, getting more involved in competitions, Juniors-only competitions and also representing Leonay in various Junior NSW State Pennants Competitions. We had some great feedback from Juniors and parents which we’ll look to incorporate in a Junior Programme going forward.
Some finger food and refreshments were provided on the night (thanks to the Golfie) and needless to say the kids enjoyed the feed.
Thanks again to the Club for providing the Buring Function Room and a feed for the attendees, and a big thank you to all the kids and parents who attended showing great interest in the night.
