Framed Hole-In-One Certificates!
The Committee are happy to announce that Members will receive a framed award certificate for getting a Hole-In-One during a competition! We'll be doing a catch-up soon and getting those framed certificates to those members in due course. The framed certificates will be A4 in size. Of course, your name will still go up on the Honour Board in the Golf Club foyer as well as added to the Honour Board on the website.
Hole-In-One Register
From now on, if a Leonay Member gets a Hole-In-One during a Leonay GC Competition round, please notify the Pro Shop on the day. They are keeping a Hole-In-One register to provide to the Committee about once per month so the certificates can be produced. The reason for the register is that mistakes are often made on the scorecard and even an out-of-place pencil mark can cause the scanner to record an incorrect score on any given hole. Also, you may get a Hole-In-One during an Ambrose Event (the computer can't award any Nearest-The-Pin to individuals on a Team-Only event) or you may get a Hole-In-One on a hole that doesn't have an NTP on that day. By the Member advising the Pro Shop of your Hole-In-One on the day, you are ensuring you'll receive your framed certificate once the score card is verified.
You'll be asked to provide:
- Your Name
- Witness or Markers Name
- Hole
- Date (should be the same day)
