TEMPORARY LOCAL RULE
Due to abnormal course conditions (predominantly on greens 8 & 18) due to slow recovery and green rehab;
“If your ball is on a putting green and is on a bare patch and/or there is interference from a bare patch on your putting line to the hole due to this abnormal course condition, your options are to either take nearest point of relief no closer to the hole (for no penalty) or play the ball as it lies. Under rule 16.1d”.
This relief is NOT available to a ball off the green, even if you intend to putt the ball from off the green.
