Carnarvon Junior Golf Day, 2026

On Monday, 19th January, Carnarvon Golf Club held the Ray Harrison and Alex Mercer Junior Golf Day 2026.  Five of Leonay's 2025 Encourage Shield Team travelled out to Carnarvon Golf Club to take part in the event.  Those who represented Leonay were Fletcher Birks, Logan Schempp, Harry Commins, Leonard Partridge and Blake McNally.

It was a very tough day out at Carnarvon due to the rain: the fairways were drenched, but the boys kept their cool and played well. Fletcher Birks came first in under 17 nett and Leonard Partridge came third in under 14 boys.  Harry, Logan and Blake did really well and finished in the middle of their fields in their divisions.

It's great to see so many Leonay Juniors coming together as a team and representing Leonay Golf Club so well.  Congratulations to all the Juniors and well done.
