Round 5 at Lakeside

The Junior Encourage Shield team played their final game against Penrith at Camden Lakeside. The boys were victorious, posting an impressive 4-2 win. Fletcher Birks remained undefeated for the competition and won 3/2. His eagle on the 12th was indicative of his quality of play. Well done Fletcher. Jordan Baxter took his opponent to the 17th, where a wayward shot proved impossible to find, handing his opponent the game. Leonard Partridge had another convincing win 8/7 and Logan Schempp won 3/2. In his game, Sunny Savage fought back from being well down to not losing a hole on the back 9, but couldn’t quite bridge the gap. Harry Commins won his game on a forfeit but he and reserve Blake McNally enjoyed their round.

The long rough and many water hazards gobbled up many a stray ball.
