2025 Leonay Golf Club Major Pennants Report
The Leonay Golf Club Major Pennants team for 2025 was represented by Captain Adam Brennen, Dave Stevenson, Anthony Wright, Cal Curry, Zac Lange, Jake Thompson and new recruits in James Devlin and Jordan D’Ermillio.
The challenge was set for the playing group in the higher Division 4 and different course locations. This year our lads played at Palm Beach, The Coast and Northbridge. Experienced players Ringo, Adam, Stevo, Zac, Cal and Bill Allen Trophy Players Player for 2025 Jake maintained their consistent form. Our new recruits James and Jordan enjoyed the opportunity to compete in playing match play which will benefit them in the future.
Even with the boys winning two rounds through the season, they still had to face the relegation round against Warringah so it wasn’t an automatic stay in Division 4. Unfortunately in the relegation round, we missed the opportunity to stay in Division 4 so we’ll be relegated is back to Division5 for 2026.
A big thank you to all the supporters, caddies, shirt sponsors Chemtools, Superior Turf Services and Local Golfer Ben Breckenridge. Also another big thanks must go to BBQ Master Chefs Billy and John with their great halfway snacks as usual.
To the players, their commitment and patience in representing Leonay Golf Club was a pleasure to manage. Also, the team was ably assisted Pete Walker and Captain Adam Brennen.
